    • Cooking: 8 minutes

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds (mixed white and black)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • A few sprigs of cilantro
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the marinade:
In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and one tablespoon of olive oil.

2️⃣ Marinate the salmon:
Brush the salmon fillets generously with the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them rest for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the fish.

3️⃣ Coat with sesame seeds:
Spread the sesame seeds on a flat plate. Roll the salmon fillets in the seeds to cover them thoroughly on all sides.

4️⃣ Cook the salmon:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
Place the salmon fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the sesame crust is golden and the salmon is cooked through but still tender inside.

5️⃣ Serve:
Serve the sesame-crusted salmon fillets, garnished with a few sprigs of cilantro.
